There is no on-campus housing at CCM, so we encourage incoming students to locate their own housing in the Pasadena area using one of the following resources:

Since we do not offer on-campus housing, we offer a Housing Placement Service for students seeking an easy transition into college. To ensure housing is secured by the time your program starts, we begin discussing options 1 to 3 months prior to your start date, depending on the type of housing you want. The fee for our Housing Placement Service is $250.

Homestays are our most popular housing option for students. CCM matches the student with a family from a local Pasadena neighborhood, and the family provides an inexpensive room for rent. Home-cooked meals may be included in the total cost if desired. All homestay families on our roster are pre-screened to ensure a safe and happy experience for the student. Estimated monthly rent is as follows:

Homestay without meals:  $700-$900
Homestay with meals:  $800-1000

Apartments are available for students who prefer to live alone. CCM can provide assistance in locating studio or one bedroom apartments. Estimated monthly rent is as follows:

Studio Apartments:  $900-$1200 per month (not including security deposit)
One Bedroom Apartments:  $1100-$1400 month (not including security deposit)

California College of Music places students in dormitories located at William Carey International University, about 1 mile north of CCM. Rooms of various sizes are available with or without roommates and with or without meal plans. Approximate dorm room pricing is as follows:

Dorm room without meals: $520-$775
Dorm room with meals: $720-$1075
